Seems like a false story playing in front of my eye,

Selfish to Selfless took a long time,
Selfless to Self-love was a hard fight,
Was a tough path to walk through,
But a walk worth remembering.
Broke me
Little did I know,
When you portray the real you to the world,
You will be subject to criticism and love at the same time,
So, it’s not who you are that defines you,
But the eyes looking at you that define you,
Reality is that
We keep letting those eyes define us,
By being Pretentious.
Taught me to focus on
Being you
Worse…better.... Best
By-product of their perspective.
Bear in mind
You are not made for nothing,
Then what is that something -the reason for your existence?
