Words Of A Bleeding Heart

A still evening at length; not giving up
In the tempest of emotions
Whirls in warmth along the string,
Of thy vibe; to numb the senses
And falter the heart to the voice within.
Oh! How oft, the eyes crave
Thou visit; and repose at thy sight
For solace to shield the soul
And feet to follow thee; and clone
Thou shadow; to embark on love
Through the fire.
In the artistry of touches
And cares sublime; and the subtle hair strokes
A prefix clad
Of thou charm and grace!
In dawn of the spring; the hues seem so queer
As of the dry leaves of winter; call for the soul
To recluse into doom; in tears and shivers
And the heart which broke, deny in vain
To believe, it was an end; an unriped dream!
