IMAGINARY GIRL

Pallavi

It’s astonishing how people succumb to somebody in this Deep Digital World. I know this is utter trumpery and schlock nonsense, I could not imagine that this would transpire with me… I am just a simple girl, not anti-social rather than socially selective.

My story begins like that one fine evening the sky was 'as dim as slate' and freezing northwest winds were blowing and the rain was starting to fall… I took my tea along with fritters and ventured out onto the balcony. A blustery breeze surging in, making a rippling hair strand fall upon my face. I chuckled at those droplets playing on my balcony wall. I adore everything about rain, the earthy fragrance (petrichor), the sound of rain, I love it when raindrops kissed my cheeks, I would say rain enhance the magnificence of nature, it's kind of refreshing and relaxing…

Unexpectedly, a message popped up on my mobile screen. I never read and did not respond to these messages from random people. But that day I grinned and read the messages for some affable reason, I don't have the foggiest idea how long he had been writing. This seems to be his last pleadings….

Hey…! Pia, I draw people, with your permission, I would like to use your pictures for my artwork…! You look like the girl I always dreamed of, but I couldn’t replace it to my art until l discovered you in this deep digital world…

I haven't had the faintest idea how this FB algorithm worked and figured me out a path to connect with you... You resembled the reflection of my imagination…
I just hadn't asked anyone that way. I was astonished to see the pictures of you….
Would you be my masterpiece in art, My Monalisa?

Heavens alone knows whether it was the weather or the words that make me stalking to his FB profile. A guy about 25, Tall, Dark and Handsome with Tousled Dark Brown Hair, His Eyes were Deep and Magnetic with Thick Eyelashes and an Appealing Smile…

In between messages were pouring in…

Hey Pia, feel free to reply or ask questions… Don’t be sceptical... Enough puzzling me, please…

Dude, what if I say you will reply, I am inquisitive; I have doubt in FB algorithm that deeply analyzed my brain and create a chatbot!

I’d tried logic in his liking and imagination but cannot do so nevertheless I responded!
Mr. Artist:- Beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder and it's more likely you must have told that to everybody you need to draw! Thanks for the compliments, but I look good in pictures only….

He was so elated and immediately replied; - Beauty is also a perception in my mind and you are as beautiful as my imagination is!
Ms. Pia; - Being straight forward, and in eager, I didn't introduce myself or ask anything about you… I am Shiva, an Architect by profession; I do artwork and Research in Economic Policy.
Tell me something about you apart from you are Pia from Heaven and a Professional Lawyer...
He asked, so would you like to be part of my artwork…

I wish to do my masterpiece with you… He asked again, Lawyer, are you still searching for an element of trust?

I had no other option to oblige what he wants… I behaved like a flicked switch somewhere that day my switch was flicked…

From that day onwards, I started speaking with him often… He sent me the paintings of mine which he had drawn… I was not convinced of his theory of Imaginary Girl…. For me it's beyond imagination how you look at someone for a second and consider thinking of it all your life and see something more beautiful than the stars…, In my case, I can take a gander at an image for a week and still never consider it again however I am learning to trust his journey from imagination to reality even though I don’t understand it… I have to admit, I'm falling for his Intellect, Eloquence and Paintings… still expecting the masterpiece though…
