A world so different

Puloma Gupta

Clouds here are different.
Embedded wholly in the endless skies,
Insignificant shapes as they take,
Yet all these different shapes
hold a dark secret,
buried deep inside their reaches.

Winds here are different.
Soothing and quiet
As they may appear,
Yet hold the wildest of powers
To barge into the depths of a wandering soul,
And take him where his desires rest.

Rains here are different.
The tears of sorrow
Wearing an angelic mask of innocence,
Fall on this earthly life,
With the only hope
Of seeking a solace in all these cruel hearts.

The time here, stands different!
