Program Inclusions
Get published in an anthology on Amazon
Receive the honour of seeing your poetry published alongside Karuna Ezara Parikh — acclaimed author of The Heart Asks Pleasure First, screenwriter of major films like Kaash directed by Ishaan Nair and former television presenter. She will also conduct a workshop for the participants.

The anthology brings together creative work from selectively picked Indian poets. Rich and diverse in poetic output, representing every trend, of theme and form, in a single volume anthology like this will be an excellent read. We aim to bring public eye to genuinely modern Indian poets, capturing the spirit of new-age thinking and sensibility.
Submit three of your best poems. The book will be available on Amazon, increasing your visibility. Two copies will be sent to your home address.

Kindly note the online sessions are optional to attend. We understand completely if your schedule doesn't permit you to attend or something comes up last minute. You will receive recordings once it's processed. Included in the fee when you sign up for the program.
Day One
The Poets' Toolkit will guide you on how to craft captivating poems that resonate with the audience. In addition, you will also learn how to structure your work for clarity and emotional impact, and overcome writer's block.
Day Two
The Publishing Playbook will help you to get your writing into the hands of readers. Traditional vs self-publishing- what's right for you? How to build your author brand and grow a loyal readership. Marketing strategies that actually work for writers. Using new-age technology like Substack and Medium. Can social media lead to becoming an overnight success?
If you're new to promoting yourself as an author, don't worry. We will break it down in simple language, with a free e-book, to use these strategies.
Certificate of Achievement
You will be awarded Certificate of Achievement. The hard copy will be sent to you from our headquarters in New Delhi. We're a world-renowned organization, so the certificate will be helpful in all pursuits related to your professional growth. Upon request, we can also provide Letter of Recommendation.

The Host
Saumya Choudhury is a renowned Indian poet and speaker. As the founder of Delhi Poetry Slam, her mission is to give a push to a new wave of Indian writing. Her poems on family and cultural heritage are available to watch on her Youtube channel. She has been interviewed by Times of India, Hindustan Times and ARD German TV.
Winner of the Gulen Institute Youth Platform Award in Washington D.C. (USA) and Y Kumar Award for International Understanding, presented to her by the late Sitaram Yechury— Saumya Choudhury is recognized globally for her work.
Success Stories

From the city of Lucknow, Eshna Sharma received One Lakh Rupees for her writing. Her book 'Girlhood' was published by Wingword Publications (an imprint of Delhi Poetry Slam). She is a graduate of Ashoka University.

After completing a content writing internship at Delhi Poetry Slam and receiving Letter of Recommendation, Sameeha Sood was awarded the Trustee Scholarship at esteemed Boston University. The Trustee Scholarship, awarded to exceptional students, covers 100% undergraduate tuition and fees.

Hridayansh Khera, who was part of a month-long workshop series at Delhi Poetry Slam and published in our anthology, is now a student at the reputed National University of Singapore (NUS). His debut collection of poetry 'Under the Pale Moonlight' was unveiled by Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu, Chief Minister of Himachal Pradesh.
Program Fee: INR 20,000
The program fee includes publication in the anthology, feature, certification and online sessions. Participants can deposit the fee, via bank transfer or online, after they receive the selection email.
