
Zehn Kashyap, identifies as she/her, represents the growing population of students worldwide who have special needs. Not letting her challenges define her; she has evolved into a staunch advocate for disability awareness. She frequently uses her voice to speak out for those less privileged than her. An internationally published writer, award winning speaker and an advocate for the Power of Differentness. She has driven numerous programs to solicit support for children with disabilities. Zehn has made a mark in several National as well as international forums- including CBSE Board, Ashoka University, Girl Up Global Leadership Summit, Lady Gaga’s Born this Way Foundation, People Matters, TribesforGOOD, Neuro Aid Foundation and PHD Chambers of Commerce and Industry, Diversity Mahotsav, India Autism & Neurodiversity Summit and Neurodiversity India Summit.
Her Audiobook of poems, L’(Extra)ordinaire launched at the 2023 Hyderabad Literary Festival and her podcast series, Personnae Extraordinaire, are her ode to the tribute to the twin virtues of kindness and empathy. In recognition of her social advocacy work in the area of Disability Awareness, she was awarded the prestigious 2024 Diana Award.
Zehn was chosen from among thousands of applicants to be part of the World Poetry Project 2025. Her poems were subsequently published in Across Latitude & Language, a global anthology showcasing the works of all participants of WPP 2025.
