Thangavelu Chinnasamy is a retired Senior Section Officer from the Accounts Department of Indian Railways, with a continued passion for poetry, research, and education. He is a proud member of the British Accounting and Finance Association and the International Society of Ecological Economics.
A bilingual promoter of acrostic poetry and public speaking in both English and Tamil. He has authored three books featuring acrostic poems, including கரந்துறை, ஒரு நொடி பா, and அந்தாதி எதுகை பாவினம்.
Thangavelu is also an engaged researcher with a registered ORCID ID: 0000-0003-0888-5440, contributing to open research in the international arena.

He was chosen from among thousands of applicants to be part of the World Poetry Project 2025. His poems were subsequently published in Across Latitude & Language, a global anthology showcasing the works of all participants of WPP 2025.
