Swapna Sanchita

Swapna Sanchita is a poet, a storyteller and an educator who studied civil engineering before obtaining a degree in management from IIM K and gradually finding her way back to her first love, writing. She has been published in numerous International literary magazines and anthologies. Her poems have been published in Muse India, Button Poetry, Green Ink Poetry, Trouvaille Review, SkyIsland Journal and other places. Des Vu, her poetry collection came out in 2021 and was an Amazon Bestseller. Sanchita's work often explores the delicate interplay between personal experience and universal truths, inviting readers to reflect on their own journeys. Her literary creations are marked by a deep understanding of human emotions and a keen observation of the world around us. Beyond poetry, she also crafts enchanting stories for young readers,  such as Seven Stars Go Missing and Ricco which received a lot of love from her young readers.

She was chosen from among thousands of applicants to be part of the World Poetry Project 2025. Her poems were subsequently published in Across Latitude & Language, a global anthology showcasing the works of all participants of WPP 2025.
