Shirali Raina

Shirali Raina, a physician and a public health professional from India, has a keen interest in writing about human and social values. Her writings reflect her childhood reminiscences, social commentary, and mental health issues

She has authored a chapter in the book  To be Heard: Women’s Voices Across Land and Sea, an anthology of narratives from women authors across continents. 

Her short stories and poems have found home in various publications like Mint, Hektoen International, Burrow, and Lothlorien Journal of Poetry.

Shirali was chosen from among thousands of applicants to be part of the World Poetry Project 2025. Her poems were subsequently published in Across Latitude & Language, a global anthology showcasing the works of all participants of WPP 2025.
