
Rebecca Cook is a self-teaching visual artist and writer who was raised in north Georgia and currently lives in Chattanooga, TN. She is a member of AVA and of CLEARSTORY ARTS GALLERY.
Cook has published two collections of poems– The Terrible Baby (2006) and I Will Not Give Over (2013); a novel– Click (2014); a bilingual collection of poems with Romanian poet Talvescu Dumitru The Shadow of Water (2016); and an erasure, The Best Man in the World (2017), with poet Jenny Sadre-Orafai.
Cook’s poems, stories, and essays have been published in print and online journals including The Georgia Review, The New England Review, The Rumpus, and The Nervous Breakdown. Her poem, “Onion Skin” (Psaltery & Lyre, 2021), was nominated for a Pushcart.
Rebecca's work has been published in Across Latitude & Language by Delhi Poetry Slam, a global anthology of poets celebrating diverse voices from around the world.
