Parii Jain is a young student from Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh. She discovered her passion amid the serene landscapes of Mayo College Girls’ School, Ajmer.
A keen observer, she constantly seeks new ways to express her creativity. Parii finds beauty in life’s smallest details and is always on a quest for deeper understanding. Her inquisitive nature fuels her love for reading, introspection, and writing. Her poetry is a reflection of the world she inhabits, rich with symbolism and striking storytelling. Filled with deep emotions, her writing offers a profound glimpse into the complexities of the human psyche.
Beyond literature, Parii has a strong inclination toward economics and mathematics, exploring their interplay in shaping societies. A humanitarian at heart, she actively works for the welfare of stray dogs through the Navodaya Foundation. Driven by a desire to bring peace and harmony to her surroundings, she dedicates herself to causes close to her heart. Parii’s journey is one of curiosity, compassion, and creativity—woven together by her relentless pursuit of knowledge and her deep empathy for the world around her.
She was chosen from among thousands of applicants to be part of the World Poetry Project 2025. Her poems were subsequently published in Across Latitude & Language, a global anthology showcasing the works of all participants of WPP 2025.
