Michelle is a reflective writer and poet who explores themes of self-awareness, resilience, purpose, inner growth, and living with gratitude. Her work shines a light on what is often ignored — the small moments, the quiet choices that add value to life, to the people around us, and to the world we share. In her writing, Michelle invites readers to dive deeper — not just to see problems and fix them, but to find the root and heal from within.
Her poetry reflects a solution-oriented perspective, encouraging reflection, restoration, and meaningful action. Her first poetry collection, Blessed In The Mess, won the 21st Century Emily Dickinson Award and speaks of life, persistence, and growth through her personal experiences. A passionate educator at heart, Michelle loves teaching and building meaningful connections with her students, their families, and fellow trainers. In her pursuit of knowledge and wisdom, she believes there is always more to learn — both from her journey and from others. She is a lifelong learner who finds joy in writing poetry, reflective essays, and stories that inspire. Outside of writing, Michelle enjoys kayaking, scuba diving, nature walks, quality time with her family, and meaningful conversations.
Michelle was chosen from among thousands of applicants to be part of the World Poetry Project 2025. Her poems were subsequently published in Across Latitude & Language, a global anthology showcasing the works of all participants of WPP 2025.
