Manisha Bhola Sharma is a housewife and a mom of three wonderful kids. She grew up as an only child, and poetry became one of her hobbies as a teen, which soon turned into a passion as she grew. As a young teen, she discovered she had a knack for writing poems after getting an English assignment to write an impromptu poem upon nature, which turned out to be the best in her grade. From then on, her mind would start to think in rhythm and rhyme, and she could even turn conversations into poetry in due time. She loves writing poetry in a particular rhythm and mostly impromptu.
She loves reading non-fiction, and one of her most favorite books has been 'Only Love is Real' by Dr. Brian Weiss. Like any true poet, she’s a romantic at heart, thus also loves reading love stories and watching romance movies. May her rhythm act as brushstrokes and her rhyme act as hues, may her poems paint a beautiful scenery on the canvas of the reader’s mind, thereby inculcating one’s imaginative clues.
Manisha was chosen from among thousands of applicants to be part of the World Poetry Project 2025. Her poems were subsequently published in Across Latitude & Language, a global anthology showcasing the works of all participants of WPP 2025.
