
Luke Morgan was born in Ireland in 1994.
His debut poetry collection, "Honest Walls" was published in 2016 by Arlen House, followed by "Beast" in 2022.
He received the Lawrence O’Shaughnessy Award 2025, a prestigious award given by the University of St. Thomas, Minnesota, to honour outstanding Irish poets.
"Blood Atlas", his eagerly awaited third collection, was completed with the assistance of a bursary from The Arts Council of Ireland.
As well as poetry, Luke is also part of an award-winning Irish filmmaker duo, "Morgan Brothers", with his brother, the composer Jake Morgan.
Luke's work has been published in Across Latitude & Language by Delhi Poetry Slam, a global anthology of poets celebrating diverse voices from around the world.
He lives and works in Galway, Ireland.
