
Dr. Archita Biswas is a Ph.D. in Biochemistry (University of Calcutta, India), with a passion for the arts. While exceling in the scientific realm, she has also nurtured a love for language and literature. With a unique voice that portrays poetic insight, her poems take readers on a journey of discovery and contemplation. Her poems explore themes that span from nature to human experience and the simple lucid language will surely touch the audience mind.
She has authored a book on English poems – “Selfless Rose”. Other than English, Dr. Archita Biswas also writes in her mother tongue Bengali. She has also written a Bengali book for children “Goppo Chhorar Jhuri”- meaning “A Basket of Stories and Poems”, under her maiden name Archita Saha. Her other interests include music and painting. Her creative flair refreshes her mind.
Dr. Archita was chosen from among thousands of applicants to be part of the World Poetry Project 2025. Her poems were subsequently published in Across Latitude & Language, a global anthology showcasing the works of all participants of WPP 2025.
