Berry Jr. is a poet shaped by a fusion of worlds—rooted in Sikh values, raised in the pulse of a modern metro city, and seasoned by global travels across Canada, the UAE, and beyond. His writing reflects a unique blend of cultural depth and urban ambiguity, where tradition meets modernity but under chaos.
With a natural gift for words from his father—what he calls his “poetic DNA”—Berry Jr. crafts verses that echo with empathy, deep introspection, and a love for the shared human expression. His background in Transit architecture and design adds structure to his creativity, inspiring him to translate vibes into poems like the carefree designed spaces: intentional, abstract, and moving.
His work is driven by a belief in the vibrations of poetry to bridge silence & noise. Participating in the World Poetry Project 2025 is a step forward in his journey to share his voice with a wider audience, and to connect with a global community of storytellers.
Berry was chosen from among thousands of applicants to be part of the World Poetry Project 2025. His poems were subsequently published in Across Latitude & Language, a global anthology showcasing the works of all participants of WPP 2025.
