Ballaleshwar Tela, hailing from Umarkhed in Yavatmal district of Maharashtra, is an academic and mentor. An alumnus of Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, he holds degrees in Physics, Mathematics, and Management.
Transitioning from corporate life to academics, he now teaches mathematics and coaches table tennis and chess. His debut poetic work 'The Delusions' draws inspiration from literary icons like William Wordsworth and Robert Frost.
Balleshwar was chosen from among thousands of applicants to be part of the World Poetry Project 2025. His poems were subsequently published in Across Latitude & Language, a global anthology showcasing the works of all participants of WPP 2025.
