Anupa Vijapurapu

Anupa is a young aspiring poet who works within marketing and analytics, she is also interested in art and music. Theirs is a saying ‘poetry is the thoughts we breathe’- So she believes poems are the true representation of everything beautiful, bad and ugly. 

She has been writing for several digital platforms since high school and maintains a poetry blog (tinytales_98). She is currently in the process of publishing her debut poetry book ‘Daffodils of Summer’, an anthology about faith, love and healing based on life experiences she has been wanting to share.

With Daffodils, she wants to remind how beautiful and empowered all of us are irrespective of our abilities or disabilities and aims to emphasize on the importance of believing in our voice and creating safe spaces for representation, for people, through poems. 

She was chosen from among thousands of applicants to be part of the World Poetry Project 2025. Her poems were subsequently published in Across Latitude & Language, a global anthology showcasing the works of all participants of WPP 2025.
