Aditi Surha – Delhi Poetry Slam

Aditi Surha

Aditi Surha is a teen poet from New Delhi who has been writing for as long as she can remember. For her, writing is not just a creative outlet but a fundamental part of who she is. Over time, she has developed a poetic voice that is both clear and emotionally resonant. Her poetry draws from personal experiences, exploring themes of love, loss, longing, and identity. She believes that powerful writing comes from authenticity, capturing the emotions that shape our lives. Aditi has co-authored two anthologies and participated in various writing competitions, earning recognition for her work. Through her blog, Spilled Thoughts, she further shares her work such as A Moth’s Tragedy, which delves into the complexities of perception and identity.

Having recently completed her Class 12th, Aditi continues to pursue her literary journey alongside her academic growth. Her other interests span the realms of literature, debates, music, and Model United Nations, where she engages actively in diplomacy to hone her skills.

She is currently working on her own solo poetry anthology, which she plans to publish later this year.

Aditi was chosen from among thousands of applicants to be part of the World Poetry Project 2025. Her poems were subsequently published in Across Latitude & Language, a global anthology showcasing the works of all participants of WPP 2025.
