Wings Of Tomorrow – Delhi Poetry Slam

Wings Of Tomorrow

By Niya Samith

The wings fly in the whispering breeze,
When the seeds take flight to dance with the trees
Away from the roots, that hold them tight
They soar high in the soft , golden light

Over the gales of wind, they glide
Through the misty shadows, they slide
Even in the corridors of time,
They move with their never-lost sublime.

In the dream’s and fantasy’s quest,
They search for a place to rest
Carries the life's seraphic secrets,
With the no found despair and regret.

Across the rivers and valleys, they move
The tapestry of life, they wove
In these tiny, brown-coated seeds,
Reflect the existence of human deeds.

Through every tear and every smile,
It learn to walk a longer mile.
Through the cold , winter rain,
As a dewdrop, graceful yet plain.

As the windy and nebulous sky,
Weeps and lets out a huge sigh
The seed flies into the vast unknown,
And reaches its terminus so high.

They fly with vigour and vision,
The wingless birds of the sphere
In every cracks of despair, hope blooms,
Paving the way to the harmony's room

Dreams rise like fiery flames,
Even in the darkest hours of time.
At each dawn, the seed awakens with a howl,
Whispering a promise to soul.

The fear of what we cannot see,
A mysterious and dulcet melody.
The silent pulse of strength and time,
Confined in a fragment of the life's rhyme.

They sway along the waves of the silver sea,
In the moonlight they rush and flee
Upon the twinkling moonlit skies,
The fantasy lives where the seed lies.

Brewing a pinch of wisdom and hope,
In this messy and cruel earth
A tiny seed with dreams unchained,
The lock and key of the world.

Even in the course of gloom,
They are delivered by joyful blooms
From herbs to shrubs, in the core,
They carry the essence of existence.

The seed drenched in the sower's sweat,
Who toiled so hard in the field's heat
Like a grain beneath the frost,
Hope quietly blooms within him.
