A smile from a stranger, a heart’s surprise,
Forever chasing the warmth in your eyes.
One tiny drop, now a river’s stream,
Carrying my soul, to your heart’s dream.
In the depths of your gaze, I find a home,
A place where emotions, once locked, now roam.
The river’s voice, a gentle, sweet refrain,
Echoes the longing, the love, the joy, the pain.
A multitude of emotions to be told,
Yet my voice is a solitary whisper, hold.
Speak for me, dear heart, & set me free,
For fear of my own voice, and emotions locked within me.
