We Read India Backward

By Dayana Vaddi

The world, behold the light came,
Brought so opaque an object flame;
Which shadowed our originative mind,
And made our lucid lean blind;
The white veiled my lands truth.

My feet slaved my own land,
With hearts heavy and laden;
All the labour of loath men
Sailed miles out of hand;
The white weighed and looted.

Therefore, A fire born out of speck,
intensifying its worth right back ;
Grounds gathered souls of ash,
Skies scattered hopes of flash,
And with immense pride, waved our flag.

My soil unveiled from whiteness,
Gleaming it's cultures pureness;
Soils sprouting out with love sweetness,
Waters reflecting temple's sacredness ;
The world turned its pages,and rewrote "DEVELOPING".

With pride,our bossom lifted,
With flow of blood being heated ;
Vision leading nation,
Calls for souls of creation;
Time to step in one accord forward.

To retrieve INDIA, as epicenter of economy and culture.
Behold the light; Don't wonder, for it's happening.
