You shield us like a rigid backbone.
Mothers put vermilion on your forehead
As the call of duty arrives;
Wives pack along a piece of their heart,
As pride and tears shine in their eyes.
Who knows what the future holds
As you courageously walk out of your home?
The blessings and love you wish to behold
Lie beneath the determination of your soul.
You play with fire as the world goes black,
When the enemy tries to crush your spirit.
You guard our sleep as you fight back,
Retaliating with full force and grit.
O warriors of the nation,
Your bravery resonates over miles.
You are motherhood's sons and saviours—
