This piece is written from the perspective of a person who is fascinated by a writer. A writer, who doesn’t express by saying but expresses through his writings. Or, does he?
It’s a question, whether what he writes is also what he has lived or if those are mere imaginations. She wants to find 'his story' (Uski Kahaani) through 'his stories' (Uski Kahaaniya) but there’s always some uncertainty if those would provide the true picture or would just leave her in delusion.
As artists, we might create what we believe in, or we might be just playing around with different perspectives out there.
As artists, we have the liberty to stay a MYSTERY.
Poetry - Uski Kahani
Ek ladke ko jaanti hu mai,
Vo zyada kuch kehta nahi hai,
Khud mein hi rehta hai,
Aur aksar likhte hue dikhta hai.
Vo pyaar ke baare mein likhta hai
Kya usne bhi ishq kiya hoga?
Vo toote dil ke baare mein likhta hai
Kya usne bhi vo dard mehsoos kiya hoga?
Vo khoobsurati par likhta hai
Kya kisi chehre ne uske bhi dil ko dhadkaya hoga?
Vo tanhaai par likhta hai
Kya kisi mod par usne bhi khudko akela paaya hoga?
Vo khwaishon ke baare mein likhta hai,
Vo chaand ka zikr bhi karta hai,
Kuch junoon sa likhta hai,
Kuch sukoon bhara likhta hai.
Vo jo bhi likhta hai,
Na jaane kyun kuch adhura sa likhta hai,
Jaise talaash hai use kisi ki,
Jo uski kahaniyan muqammal kardegi.
Usi ki likhi kahaniyon mein,
Use padhne ki koshish kar rahi hu main.
Uski bikheri syaahi mein,
Use sametne ki koshish kar rhi hu main.
Use saare sawaal puchna chahti hu,
Use aur kareeb se janna chahti hu,
Magar vo zyada kuch kehta nahi hai,
Bas aksar likhte hue dikhta hai.
