Are we just pointless dreamers,
Baffled by our high dreams,
Procrastinating to the very depths,
Admiring the little, bewildered wins,
Counting the countless fails,
Clinging to the hope of change?
Maybe today, today is the day it changes.
Worthless warriors we may be,
Battles fought endlessly by him—
Surely, he stood in the silence,
Caught between "to be or not to be."
A constant drench of existence,
A matter of fleeting affection,
A colliding attraction with rapid definition,
Drawn to the sole lesson of redemption.
Precipitating through timeless, altered emotions,
A carrier to the shores of self-deprivation,
The constant, doubtful conscience,
Confiscating the love for the soul within.
Beautifully captures the struggle between hope and doubt. Deep, emotional, and thought-provoking.
