That night I couldn't sleep,
Tired mind, irritated heart I wanted to weep.
Again this time I couldn't achieve my dream,
Seating by the window I heard a jackal scream.
I am becoming restless in the midnight silence,
Someone please help me and give me guidance.
Through glass, a view serene and still,
A lonely road, a distant hill.
Blinking lights, pouring rain, no cars on the road,
I suddenly caught a glimpse of an old man walking with his pace slowed.
But I saw someone else's face in his,
Lost in thoughts of my hardwork and his future wish.
Questions flooded my mind and tears filled my eyes,
Will I make my dad proud before time flies?
