For someone who's lived in a nightmare for years,
There's a thin line between a dream and reality's tears
As I stare at the mirror, terrified of the sinister face,
I reach out to touch it, the shards piercing through the lace
I wake up with a jolt, the cold sweat making me shiver,
It was just a dream, or was it? I fear
Looking at my hand, I noticed the blood pooling,
I couldn't stop my tears, who was I fooling?
There's a thin line between reality and a nightmare,
I couldn't tell which one was what, to be fair-
For someone's who's lived in a nightmares for years,
What's the difference between a dream and a reality's tears?
