The World left Behind

I have seen the world now
Not able to win now
Halting in my roads, uneasy in my mind

I have felt the pain, the joy, the strife
The beauty and ugliness of life
I have seen the best, the worst, the in between,
And learned that truth is often unseen.

I have seen the world now,
From dawn till night.
Explored its depths, and tasted life
My heart is full, my soul is bright
I have lived, i have loved, i have taken flight.

I have witnessed love, in every form
From tender touch to passionate storm.
Now, as i look back on my journey’s roads,
I see the world, with all its heavy load.

Now, I have seen the world
From mountains high to oceans wide
I have walked the paths, where few have tried.
No regrets, no dreams left behind
My journey’s end, my story align.
