The wind behind my wings

As a little girl, I watched birds,
Wondered what world they see.
How do they feel while flying?
Do they fear the earth or sea?

I was a girl full of hope,
Full of confidence to touch the sky.
Situations that were difficult
Made me fly with hope even more high!

I always knew there is a purpose
God has brought me on this earth.
What purpose or goal it is
Will become clear only on trying, with full trust.

Faith, love, and loved ones,
Teachers, mentors, and books,
Are definitely the propellers of my wings—
But I need to be the wind behind my wings!

I need to really work hard,
Use my full potential and resilience.
My work, my story, and legacy
Need to be built with full zing!

The only way ahead
Is to move a step each day.
I might fall multiple times,
But getting up and finishing the task is the only way!

Being in love with yourself
Is the first mindset you need,
As by loving yourself truly
You become the wind behind your wings!

Act, do, and behave
As if you are living your purpose.
The universe will answer all your prayers,
And you will become what you were meant to be!
