Proudly flaunt your shades of grey

So better embrace your imperfections and slay!
Why follow the herd mentality,
Rather stick to your originality
No matter how many boxes of expectations you tick in,
What's the point if you aren't comfortable in your own skin!
Listen to the rhythm of your heart,
Do not let your dreams drift apart
Take the steering of your life in your own hand,
Doesn't matter wherever you land
No facade to put on, no masks to hide
OR the societal norms to abide
Which path to follow is upon you to decide -
To join the crowd or stand apart with pride.
