The moment I realized that no one could love us like our parents,
my life started to feel more beautiful.
I no longer wait for someone to love me back,
because I already have the purest love from them.
They don’t care about my looks, job or success,
they just love me for who I am.
Even the ones we fall for might expect beauty, a good job or a kind heart.
But our parents? They love us without a single condition.
The one we marry may not always stand by us against the world.
But think of our father, who gave us wings to fly and said,
“If you're ever tired, come back, I'll always be here for you.”
And what about our mother?
Nowhere in this universe will we ever find a love, care or comfort like hers.
She may be seen as a quiet housewife,
but for her children, she’ll stand against the world,
even if that world is her own husband.
Who else would do that?
These days, some partners say,
“Compromise, they’re just your parents. We have our own life now.”
But who are we really,
if we forget the ones who made us who are we?
Yes, our partner and children are our priority.
But our parents, for whom we are the entire world,
they are our first and forever responsibility.
All they ask for is our love,
especially when their strength begins to fade.
Remember, it should always be you and your parents vs the world,
never you vs your parents for the world.
