Thirsty...
Earth’s thirstful days
going a very long time,
thirsty to drastic...
Wishes...
Earth craving for a drop of water
And then, when the first rain
dribbles for a while
and pours into the soil,
The thirst is over.
And then...
The Petrichor.
The great gratitude of the Earth
to the first rain
You can smell it,
you can feel it,
and it's ultimate.
Maybe…
you will even get the bristle.
Not only you
the rainbow is shining in the sky
after the pitter-patter chatting.
The butterflies are enjoying the petrichor,
and the peacock is dancing
with fully opened feathers.
Koyals are singing in sweet voices
in the soft indulgence of petrichor.
The rain has gone…
The rainbow has swiped out…
But the Petrichor
is remaining forever in our minds.
Hi..
Good morning..
Dear Madam /Sir
When I read the poem from your website, I think I had made a mistake "Sparrows are singing " Can you please change in your website to “Koyals are singing” if it is possible.
Thanking You..
Yours Truly
