The lark

By Riddhima Sen

The lark,
Flies across the sky
Early in the morning
Motivated; recharged
To start a fresh day
As the bird flies from one corner of the sky to the other:
The horizon changes it's hue
From a bright orangish red
To a shade of yellow
Tinged with bits of pink
An insignia of a new beginning
The lark sets foot
Across the wide, limitless
Horizon
Between the sky and the seas,
But sometimes blurred too.
