The mountains I see are quiet but stern
They look challenging yet calm,
All I could gather was to go in their stride,
As they embrace me in their pride.
Alongside I see men in olive green who stand tall,
Whose duties are tough, but they go beyond their call.
Between both mountains and the men in olive green
There exists a seamless exchange of confidence, strength and poise.
Let the weather be hostile,
To which they hardly care.
Th spirits remain indomitable,
Even when enemy tries to fear.
They stand strong with the sense of pride and protection,
And my gratitude to them goes beyond emotion.
Indebted always for a halo of protection!!
Proud army daughter and wife.
