It was the time with a small trace of light
as if the sun peeked in to check the site.
I was sitting near the lake, lost in thoughts
pricking my heart with the pain I myself brought.
Tears rolling down the eyes with dark circles around.
I couldn't listen to anything that surrounds.
I didn't realize he was there beside me,
Neither did I feel nor tried to see.
A while later he held my hand
and pulled me up to make me stand.
He started walking in a new way
I wasn't familiar with the place anyway.
The rays of the sun were now more than before,
We were now quite far away from the shore.
I wiped my tears and looked around
I was surrounded by serene beauty and chirping sounds.
The sun now was finally gleaming up.
I looked down, he still held my trembling hand tight
there I started to understand and
lifted my gaze slowly to his height.
A dusk-toned boy, with the most beautiful smile
Stood beside me with the sun glowing behind.
An attire far beyond, that of an urban,
with a blueish-green feather swaying on his turban.
My tears rolled down again
But this time, with utmost bliss.
Within my heart, a whisper rose
Oh, Krshna, Dear Krshna, I chose...
