The Falling Leaves

Adya Mohanka

Did you see?
 The falling leaves,
 The fading sun
 That whispered, life’s so fun.
Once you live and once you die
 Unaware of,
What might happen in a while?
 What is life?
 Is it worth living
or is it a chance that we are just given?
 Thought says
 Happiness lies within
As for me, where should I begin,
Smile on the face, crying in the heart
Till when I have to suffer this part.
 Being lonely wasn’t a choice
 It just felt like voice.
 Dreams were big
 Hopes being small
Waiting for the time I might fall.
 Now they asked me again,
 Did you see?
 The falling leaves
 The fading sun
 This time they whispered,
 You got none.
