A spirit awakens from shadows it weeps,
The journey is long, a fragile delight,
A paradox hidden, love often hides,
In a bittersweet blend, through valleys of pain.
Each sigh is a plea, each tear is a whisper,
A smile on the surface, a storm deep inside,
Trembles of innocence while secrets abide,
Yearning for healing, a scared embrace.
Forgiveness, a lantern guiding the way,
Intentions may falter, leaving trails bittersweet,
Love coexists with ignorance's cruel kiss,
In a tapestry woven, care intertwines, seeking truth.
Dancing in bonds that the heart feels beneath,
Like an uninvited guest in the silence we keep,
Polite conversation, yet vile at the core,
Unspoken fears hidden like veils we ignore.
Longing for connection, we build up our walls,
So high we can barely see across the divide,
In the silence between us, we’re destined to fall,
In the ballroom of society, our wounds are displayed.
A cycle unbroken, a lifetime to hide,
Scars of unspoken childhood, where blame is denied,
Innocence cloaked in the fear of the past,
Fragments of memories, a mosaic amassed.
Each reconciliation gathers laughter anew,
Nothing heals the past like the passage of time,
Love cannot be stolen, it’s yours to define,
Softening edges of pain once raw.
Yet echoes of childhood still linger and sway,
In reflection, we find the strength we seek,
Turning wounds into wisdom, the soul finds the sun,
Through cold, dark rain, hope blooms every day.
