She went outside, and that day was cold,
She held things that she couldn’t hold.
Her eyes held tears, but she didn't weep,
She walked straight to the woods — lovely and deep.
I observed her.
She didn’t observe me back.
For sure, there was something she used to lack.
She went on walking,
And suddenly disappeared.
There was now an end to her talking —
That girl has ended, who cared to be cared.
