Story of A Common

By Sameeksha Mishra

In a quaint little town, where dreams softly twirl,
Lived a sweet little girl, a bright, shining pearl.
She was a child so lovely, innocent, and bright,
With a heart full of wonder, a spirit taking flight.
In a home where love did bloom,
Her family cast away all gloom.
With tender hearts and gentle grace,
They cherished her in warm embrace.
Though resources may be few, her parents strive,
To ensure her wellbeing, they work and thrive.
As she began to bloom, her gaze did roam,
To wealthy peers adorned in luxury's dome.
With treasures vast and riches bright,
A longing stirred within her sight.
With envy in her heart, she began to yearn,
For treasures and trinkets, her desires would burn.
Her kin she expected to bring forth the best,
In gadgets and glamour, she sought to be blessed.
She sought to step where she felt no tie,
In shadows deep, she chose to fly,
Forsaking kin, her heart did ache,
For dreams of worlds she longed to make.
In a small town where shadows loom,
Her family’s love felt like a tomb.
With restrictions tight, she yearned to be free,
So she ventured to a city, bold as can be.

In the bustling city, where dreams intertwine,
she battled with fervor, seeking to shine.
Though her face was fair, so delicate and bright,
She was slender and frail, a fragile sight.
In the circle of beauty, she felt out of place,
Yearning for glances, yet lost in the race.
Amidst the fierce and daunting race, she toiled with all her might,
From dawn till dusk, her dreams embraced, in shadows and in light.
One day the sun shone bright, a corporate job in sight,
She found her way to thrive, providing for her life.
Joy danced in her heart, with independence so sweet,
Yet fleeting was the bliss, as time slipped through her feet.
She toiled day and night, through weeks and weekends too,
Earning but a pittance, with little joy in view.
Her family missed her dearly, but visits were a dream,
The job, a heavy burden, not quite what it seemed.
No time for laughter's echo, no moments to unwind,
Her friends awaited parties, but she was hard to find.
To seek romance, to let love bloom,
or nurture her well-being's room,
Yet she pressed on, with tireless might,
working through both day and night.
Though forsaken, her parents stayed near,
With words of courage, they quelled every fear.
Their love a beacon, a guiding light,
Inspiring her spirit to soar to new height.

One bright day, she found her place,
A job that fit, a perfect grace.
With skill in hand, she took her stand,
And balanced life, as she had planned.
Life blossomed anew, with treasures to claim,
Friends gathered 'round, each one knew her name.
Mentors appeared, with wisdom to share,
Seeing her potential, they nurtured with care.
In a circle of love, she found her true place,
For the good in her heart shone bright on her face.
Through every challenge, they stood by her side,
In a world full of warmth, she took a joy ride.
With health and grace, she thrived anew,
In a world where joy and warmth just grew.
In her circle, she shone like a star,
With beauty and brains, she was never afar.
Yet deep in her heart, a yearning did dwell,
For validation from others, a tale to tell.
Then came a young lad, with charm and with grace,
He made her feel lovely, her heart did race.
In love, she was swept, lost in the tide,
Her mind took a flight, with emotions as guide.
Her people warned, yet she turned away,
To follow a heart that led her astray.

In a new city, she sought to belong,
But the struggle was real, and the road felt long.
In her quest to blend with the crowd,
She turned from old friends, her heart not proud.
With mentors lost, she wandered alone,
In a new company where kindness was flown.
Yet in their midst, her spirit was worn,
No true friend found, just shadows forlorn.
He, the one she believed was her heart's delight,
Betrayed her trust, vanished into the night.
With dreams in tatters, he played his cruel part,
Leaving her shattered, a wound in her heart.
In silence she suffered, her spirit worn thin,
So she turned from the job, seeking solace within.
Back to her haven, where memories dwell,
To mend the pieces, to rise and to swell.
In search of solace, her family still near,
Old friends surround her, their love crystal clear.
Yet shadows of betrayal and loss weigh her down,
A heart heavy with sorrow, she wears a frown.
Her father’s health falters, their resources deplete,
Remorse fills her heart, as she faces defeat.
Fear grips her tightly, the corporate world calls,
With no means to support, her spirit just falls.
She fell to illness, frail and worn,
In shadows cast, her beauty torn,
Too weak to face the world outside,
In solitude, she must abide.

She returned to the city where dreams once danced,
Yearning to work, but fate left her chanced.
Courage eluded, like shadows at night,
Hope slipped away, lost out of sight.
At last, she reached the depths so grim,
A chain smoker, her light growing dim.
In shadows deep, where sorrows dwell,
A heart entwined in a silent spell.
Life's worth seemed to fade away,
In shadows deep, it lost its way.
Yet when all doors are shut tight,
A single ray can spark the light,
In her aged papers, a certificate lay,
Awakening memories of talent's bright ray.
She chose to pen her thoughts, in the flow she found her peace,
With every word that danced and twirled, her worries began to cease.
As she penned her tale, her health did bloom,
Now she radiates beauty, dispelling all gloom.
With her book in hand, a best seller it soared,
Transforming her life, a famed author adored.
She penned tale after tale, each one a delight,
Best sellers emerged, shining ever so bright.
What began as solace, now brings her acclaim,
A journey transformed, with fortune to claim.
In a flash, she rose to fame,
A shining star, a household name.
With ample funds to care for kin,
And see her father's health begin to win.
The man who once broke her heart,
now seeks a fresh start.
In a world where she sought to belong,
Hands of friendship reached out, yet felt wrong.
Those who stood by her side, through thick and thin,
Even when the world felt like it was wearing thin.
She returned to her cherished friends of yore,
And found their ways unchanged, as before.
She shone like a star, a sight to behold,
In their eyes, a celebrity, a story untold.
With wealth and name, she chose to share,
A beacon of hope, showing she cares.
In kindness and grace, her heart does swell,
For others' wellbeing, she casts a spell.
Her kindness shone, a light so bright,
Yet sought no fame, nor public sight.

In a land where charm and fame entwined,
A politician, with a heart so kind,
Discovered her spirit, pure and bright,
Admiring her deeds, a beacon of light.
Together they danced, in love's sweet embrace,
Destined as one, they found their place.
In marriage they flourished, a bond so true,
A lesson she learned, her soul anew.
She learned through trials, her spirit unbroken,
In shadows of struggle, her truth has been spoken.
In giving back, her joy does bloom,
A radiant light that chases gloom.
From the ashes, like a phoenix, she did arise,
With wings of fire, reaching for the skies.
