They say we are too young to do what they do,
But too old to do what we did.
It's just something out of the blue,
And it's like all our fun just suddenly hid.
But oh Lord! Guide us through this dilemma we’re in.
I’m steps away from reality, but miles away from innocence.
Why can’t we manage? Why can’t we just own up?
Not our fault, but still facing a consequence.
Maybe it's because we haven’t even grown up.
But oh Lord! Isn’t it unfair to get punished for something we never did?
Our parents, once our greatest friends,
Not accepting who you are.
Maybe we are just fraying ends,
And hour by hour, relationships turning sour.
But oh Lord! Why can’t they just understand us?
And maybe this is why they think it's the end,
Too much to hold than one can handle.
Hard for a young one to even apprehend,
And with themselves, they start a scandal.
But oh lord! How can one even help but fumble?
Countless tears of which they are unaware,
Easy it may seem for everyone but the one suffering.
Not sure of what they say and what they dare,
And this is the time they start discovering.
But oh lord! Only you can help them through this.
