Spend time with you,
It’s all I’d do;
I’d ask for nothing much,
Just the magic of you;
I’d spend time with you,
It’s all I’d really do;
We’d gaze at the ceiling,
In our cosiest pajamas,
And watch lights come on
from our window;
No fancy dinner reservations,
Darling,
Just noodles would do—
And we could eat royally
on our best couch;
We could watch
Your favourite show,
Turn on Netflix and lay low;
Put our feet up on the wall,
And no one would tell us no;
We could wrap ourselves
in blankets,
Or roam in our shorts instead;
You know,
Whatever the weather throws;
We could play random songs,
Just loud music for white noise,
While we stole time
For your precious talks;
We’d make mountains of your pillows,
Roll out carpets on the floor,
Light scented candles for a change;
Scroll through YouTube if you’re bored,
Or read classic poems for the mood;
Why go out darling?
When the universe could be
at our door;
And planets in our room
we could roll;
Why go out my darling?
When it could just be you and me
And me and you
Today and every day.
