So here I scribe why – Delhi Poetry Slam

So here I scribe why

By Nilofer Parveen

On the bark, I stretched down to repose
And I beheld above, a serene beautiful sky
Holding Ineffable beauty, I dare to disclose
Urging me to articulate, so here i scribe why

Lost in the quietude of the azure canopy,
I gazed at the embedded clouds trailing high
Hues of heaven dispels, any air of melancholy
I ardently admire nature, so here I scribe why

The warm sunshine held me in its embrace
Pinning me down by its warmth, could I defy?
But, to turn this moment into a remembrance
To be etched in my heart, so here I scribe why

The zephyr caressed me into a deep slumber
Indeed a spectacle of tranquility, none can deny
Reclined on the bark, I perceived what lies yonder
Should the reader fathom?, so here I scribe why

  • About nature and one own self … In the company of nature, the thoughts are filled with love and embrace. It’s like mutual connection and understanding between the human and the nature. Lovely piece of introspection of nature and one heart’s sensitivity…
