Mystic lofts reverberating with temple chimes,
Chants and accolades for the form divine,
Beauty abounds in the flourish of emerald green,
Purity ensembles this very ambience serene
Meandering through twists of life,
Rapids, yet amongst calm twines,
The pure Ganga emanates a purpose to life
It stills the soul yet sparks the divine
All seems heavenly in the chants and lights
By the Ganges, life seems to move on and still also stands by
A quest for peace, a plea to feel the abode
The mysteries of life and death seem to be somewhere between the strength of these lofts and the ripples of the soft Ganga
Many a life led to discover the meaning of life
Shadowing within the saffron and mesmerized in belief
If this is life, than what could heaven be like
Welcome to RIshikesh, embedded in the footprints of the divine
