The familiarity of trauma is so severe,
You destroy yourself every time life tries to raise you.
You can't distinguish between the blessing and the patterns of the past.
You try to prove yourself worthy of love when you deserved it all along without a question.
You crave disorder because this is the only event your system ever knows.
You confuse anxiety with excitement.
You forget what it feels like to hear your body.
You wish to unknowingly stay in mud pit even when you are born with golden wings to fly.
You are not bound by chains of other people.
You are trapped in your mental chains.
You chase the clouds that are never meant to stay,
Forgetting you are the the brightest sun in the sky.
You want to be mediocre to feel false happiness,
Even when you are built to cross the universe to fulfill every dream of yours.
Trauma never lets you heal,
Unless you one day decide, "This is the last time I will ever let anyone make me feel this way again."
It only fades when you see your worth and stop hoping for someone's potential to be in it's full capacity.
Trauma only leaves, when you decide to choose yourself again and again daily.
Trauma only runs away when you finally decide to leave the past and come to present time.
Trauma only starts to cure when you stop chasing others and start to embrace your abandoned inner child.
Trauma,
It will surely go,
When you decide to lead your subconscious mind,
With patience and boundaries,
Rather than falling into the trap of sinful beliefs you fed yourself.
It will surely go,
When order starts to feel acceptable to your nervous system.
And you stop defending from the angels that are meant to help you.
Take off those glasses that see all the tints and tones of life in the same darkness.
Trauma will go,
It will.
It has to cause you decided to heal,
And finally show up for yourself.
And this is all that matters,
To bring the magic back to its source,
The 'you' that you abandoned.
