Whenever I tried looking at you, it's always blurry.
I want you to look at me through memories.
I hope that you won't kill me and bury,
And make me a reason for your misery.
I was once your past, a voice left behind,
Yet you carry my weight in the corners of your mind.
As I think about your worries, I laugh about it.
When you give time a chance, it will solve all of it.
I hate it when you waste hours thinking about me.
You owe me an apology that I don't need,
Because that will only lead to sorrow,
And it will kill the joy of my tomorrow.
So enjoy the moments before they're gone,
And find the reason why you were born.
By all means, try to know yourself in and out.
You might not exist in the future you worry about.
I was once you, lost in my mind,
But now I ask, will you leave me behind?
Or are we forever entwined,
In the echoes of time?
