Paintings of our Celestial Artist

By Kaavin Farwaha

When the day meets night’s embrace,
A symphony of colours paints the sky’s face.
As the sun bids adieu or greets the morn anew,
It creates vibrant hues with stories to pursue.

At dawn’s first blush, a canvas starts to bloom-
A palette of reds and oranges dispels the gloom.
With every brushstroke of light, the world comes alive,
In a masterpiece where earth and sky strive.

A neglected artist splatters golden rays,
Through intricate skies in magical displays.
A dance of scattering, a science to admire,
Blue reigns supreme, lit by celestial fire.

But when the artist, a weary traveler, bows to night,
Its descent brings forth a transformation of sight.
The shades lengthen, and a painterly shift takes place-
Darks and purples cascade in grace.

As sun and horizon part in silent choreography,
The colours unite in harmonious symphony.
And in the midst of this cosmic ballet’s embrace,
We glimpse the mysteries of time and space.

Particles float like dust in the air,
Mie scattering tells a tale so rare.
Aerosols dance in shapes unknown,
Weaving a world where beauty’s grown.

So, as day’s chapters close and new ones begin,
Remember what lets these colours in.
Sunrise and sunset-each a poetic verse,
A divine gift from the universe.
