A woman would have known the pain,
of shame and guilt, the lust of the leech.
The pain of being violated
in body, mind and in every reach.
A woman would have created unequal none
O creator! You must be a man and an unfair one.
I too was your creation.
You didn’t tremble at the sound of my screeching cries,
You didn’t melt in the heat of my burning curses,
You didn’t wince when I suffered and died in silence.
O creator! You must be a man and an unfair one.
Your men named me Nirbhaya,
the one who fears none.
How do they know I feared or not...
How do they know how brazenly I fought !!!
My valour was created to hide your taint.
I was martyred to save your name,
to shield you from all the blame
O creator ! You must be a man and an unfair one.
Very thoughtful and true….
At times words fail us to express something. This is written from the bottom of the heart and will touch anyone who has a heart. It’s class.
Heart touching
An absolute masterpiece… giving voice to the things most people never say. Every word connects so deeply to real life.
Beautiful representation of the harsh truth ….
Brutal truth of the society written with pure captivating words👏
We may not bleed the same, but we ache too.
Ashamed of what some men do, we carry the weight in silence, in sorrow, in truth. We are fathers, brothers, sons & we feel it too.
