I love you,
and I fear for you,
worry about you,
and care for you,
the sands of time ever passing
and through It I came across you
my mouth left agape and me guessing
but I suppose not you too, you knew
of what precious thing we had come across
on nightless calls, and endless chatter
with endless love, and closing intimacy
somewhere, the demons in me got quieter
you are the best human to me, my favourite
for you may not realise the level of love I do
and just what you mean to me, life's best bit
you go off for a week and I miss you then too
People are resilient and you are stronger
but you forget, you don't always need to be
I love you even on days when it's harder
win or lose, you will always be my Iruu to me
I am so proud of you for making it
making your dreams come true and being you
people often just wish you and move on
but I know how hard it is, past it all, I see you
and you're such a busy lady
I can only vie for your time on many days
and I worry about you, for without you
how else shall I bathe in the warm sunlit rays
I welcome an aspiring notion of forever
a day spent in longing, and the night with thy
work our dreams, never let our bonds sever
its hard to make it rhyme, yet for you, I'll try
sometimes I can be a bit of a bother
I'll text, I'll call, I'll worry and check in
but more than clingy, it's love to me rather
to tell you I'm here and I'll wait for you therein
I worry if you'll lose touch in college
but please never do, I can't imagine it all
without you, life feels dull and unappealing
so call me often, and I'll see you in the fall
I've lived so long and written so much
and yet it's hard to convey to thee
what I really want to say in this poem as such
Is how important and integral you are to me
be clingy, call me up randomly,
be relaxed, be funny, be quirky, just be you
spend time with me, on calls and in person
be quiet if you must and I'll like it then too
I have always tried my most for you
and not discounting what you do for me too
I really love what we have with one another
I could be cringe, but say it all loud, I'd rather
so yes I care for you
and miss you
and wanna meet you
cause I'll always love my Iruu
I can try penning it all down but I doubt
how can I when our lore is just so vast
so let's live us a lot more to write about
and for now, this line shall suit to be the last...
