Mother – Delhi Poetry Slam

Mother

By Shreya ParthaSarthy

Spring or snow

Autumn or summer

You'd definitely glow,

My all-time wonder

Threatens me like thunder

To stop me from making a blunder.

Whenever I fall,

You know I'd call.

Holding my wrist,

You'd be the first.

Wearing a barrette,

For me you'd be there to direct.

Always perfect,

My auspicious armor.

You'd suppress yourself

To let me express myself.

Life’s a journey

Like a binary —

Zeros and ones,

My dear, I love you tons!

    Your poem lines are prudent
    Shows how kids are dependent
    Love of mom is abundant
    That makes world existent
