Mishki

By Aditya Maheshwary

I saw a small dog one winter day.
We played, ran and chased each other, always.
She was my good pal, but then she passed away.

She was my loyal buddy all the way.
We both loved each other like runaways.
I had a small cute dog one winter day.

When my horses saw her they would go ‘Neigh’.
We loved her dearly, She was my ‘forte’.
She was my good pal then she passed away.

She was filled with laughter and loads of play.
She left her life with an evident trace.
I saw a small dog one winter day.

No matter what, she would always obey.
She would be a small outstanding display.
She was my good pal then she passed away.

She had a very big ‘lover buffet’
She would always and constantly amaze.
I saw a small dog one winter day.
She was my good pal then she passed away.
